The Venue: Planning th: Hotels and resort manpower planning is not for full capacity. On the other hand, a ship is always manned for 100% capacity, and the staff stays on board. If you have a large party, or if there are other events happening at the same time, there is no way any hotel or resort can offer you their best quality service as would be their hallmark. We have seen this often with a lot of brand and premium level hotels. A ship, on the other hand, is still calm when carrying out operations for 100% capacity as this is what it is built to do. The technology on board is far superior to anything you will ever see on land. Every ship works on its expensive technology which takes care of each individual passenger like they are an independent party, and not part of a group. Personalization on a cruise ship is at another level altogether. There are no overstays, so you will never be short of what you booked. There are no under-stays, so each venue timing is to the dot. Being on the sea, and experienced in handling back-to-back events, a ship works like a well-oiled machine, ensuring you are not running around for fulfillment of promises made and bookings done. hotel can. A host of venues like night clubs, poolside, sun deck, theaters, etc. for all your needs. Block an entire club or the disco for your special commemoration. Or just let it be a free-for-all and book drinks and food packages for everyone.
The overall costs: When you settle for a venue on land, the overall costs are not what the initial costs are. Just delve a little deeper into your planning and start putting the costs together for the overall event. You will find that the price you pay will be a lot more than what a ship vacation will cost you. Add the costs of transport and stay, with food and in-between meals. Check the overall level of coordination required and, in some cases, the manpower required to coordinate all these efforts. A hotel will bind you with timings and menus, and anything more than that, is extra. Any odd-hour meal is extra. Every tea is a lot of money. People will have to be disciplined as if they were in the army, to go through the event and not go hungry. Leave that all behind. You have organized an occasion to have fun and to relax. That is exactly what you do on a cruise ship. No binds on timing of food, no hidden costs and no dipping into your wallet for small things.
Capacity and Capability: Hotels and resort manpower planning is not for full capacity. On the other hand, a ship is always manned for 100% capacity, and the staff stays on board. If you have a large party, or if there are other events happening at the same time, there is no way any hotel or resort can offer you their best quality service as would be their hallmark. The activities: A big challenge in any family gathering or function is that the function(s) are limited to days and timings, and for the rest of the time, people have nothing to do. Thus, either they will rake up room service bills or create an overall unhappiness on how much they must spend on taxis going to and fro to other venues or locations. A ship is always active. There is so much to do on board that the few days you have on board will seem less to cover the entire scope of available activities. You do not have to worry about people being buys. There is something for every age group and something for everyone to do. The best thing about being on the cruise is that no one will wander off, no kid will disappear, and you do not have to worry about people getting lost. No one must drive home drunk. No one is required to solicit with taxis and be on a constant planning of what to do next.
The Food: Any booking made with a hotel or resort is basis your pre-selection of the food menus, and food items. This is a limited choice, and in favor of not spending excessive money, you tend to stay within the provided options. While people will long for more variety, every hotel has limitations on what they can offer for large groups. This is where a ship is completely different. A ship has a wide variety of cuisines, all managed for large groups, with no timing restrictions, no quantity restrictions, and no restrictions on what will be served at a particular time. If you are outside of those time ones, there is still food available, and the food provided ensures something for everyone. If everyone is having North-West frontier cuisine and some children insist on Chinese food, it is all there, for everyone, in unlimited quantities.
Liquor and other drinks: Liquor or drinks are the most expensive part of any such event. Not everyone may drink, and not everyone may want to spend an equal amount on their drinks. Family groups generally tend to get budget conscious as well. Try and manage these permutations and combinations with any hotel or resort. On a ship, you can ensure various sections have a separate level of liquor package and for separate times, on different days. There is a variety available in each level of package and the selection will be enough for most guests. We can also do soft drinks packages for the children at a flat cost, with unlimited servings. Liquor is generally cheaper on a ship than on land.
Entertainment: When such events take place, you look for options to have a great evening by arranging some form of entertainment. Come on board and feel the difference. There is a theater show every evening, DJ nights, large screen movie or other shows, entertainment running in multiple lounges. You will not have to spend on the entertainment, unless you want exclusivity. In such a case as well, you don’t have to go look around and search for the perfect venue and players for the entertainment. Just choose from the many options on board.
If you are still not convinced about the capabilities of a ship for your family get-together, consider this. All the venues are within walking distance, and so are your rooms. Various categories of rooms are available to accommodate all possible guest types. No one has to rush from one place to another in a car, minding the traffic conditions and the vehicle availability. A ship will be efficient on all fronts for any event, be it large or small. You have the ability to charter the entire ship for your dream event, or just book the limited number of guests that you want to bring on board.
We have an expert team handling family get-togethers, and you will leave nothing to chance. They are experienced in handling all sorts of events, and our customized menu-driven option base will allow you to manage everything online in terms of choices and timings. No hidden costs will pop up at the last minute. We hope to see you soon for an event of within family or within your friend circles.
