The Venue:  Incentive is a celebration of the business conducted and thus the organizer goes all out with his efforts on ensuring people have a great time. The basics start with the travel planning and on-ground stay with activities. You get people from different walks of life, often from different cities, and collect them at one place. If the group is small, one hotel may be able to accommodate them. If the group is large, you require multiple hotels, often spread across the city in line with their similarity which is required, and these multiple hotels require a lot of coordination and logistics. There are extra people on ground who just manage this coordination. Lunch and dinner venues are south out which can accommodate such groups, and busses are used to ferry the people to these locations, with strict timing being adhered to. Sightseeing becomes another nightmare with such groups, as the coordination required to get everyone to the same place, ensuring people having fun, and then getting them back to their respective hotels. Finding a venue to hold a gala evening with performances is the biggest challenge of all. There is the small issue of keeping people busy during the day and controlling them post drinking sessions.   Come on board one of our ships. Large ships can accommodate large number of people. The overall costs: There are costs for the stay, and then there are additional and exorbitant costs for the meal variety that you choose. There is a cost for coordinators on ground. There is a heavy cost for transportation and logistics on ferrying people from one place to another. Finally, there are costs for additional meals and drinks which people may have.   On board the ship, one ticket price gives you stay and all meals. All venues for entertainment, food, and activities are within walking distance. No one must drive back drunk. The biggest cost saver for an organizer when holding this movement on a ship, is that your pre-tour trips that you undertake with 2 to 5 people who go to each hotel and each venue and then shortlist a few. This is not only expensive but a big drain on time and efforts of senior management. No such thing required for a ship. You can visit prior, see everything in a few hours, and go back to work. Capacity and Capability: You want to keep your guests happy. A ship is constructed exclusively to ensure people are happy and delighted. This is unlike hotels which are built for a stay primarily. Ships are large, and unlike hotel, completely empty out when the ship return from a sailing. Thus, no last minute late stays and availability issues. There are multiple category of rooms available on a ship, which is also unlike a hotel, and ensures you can bring in all categories of guests on the same ship. You do not have to hunt for different venues spread across the city and country, to get people to eat well and have any form of entertainment and activity. A ship has all of this built in. There is a large food court which can accommodate a full capacity ship. There are casinos, night clubs, lounges, pool deck, and bars for people to have fun. A ship docks at a few destinations where people can enjoy a shore excursion. These docks are often at exotic locations. The ship is capable of handling theater and shows on an everyday basis, and thus, a ship can easily handle and manage a large and exotic gala event. Hotels often cannot do this and you require external help, which is expensive. A ship is capable of handling various dietary requirements and treats passengers as individuals, rather than part of a group.  

The activities: Keeping people in the group active and busy at all times, is not only a social requirement, but also a business requirement. You need to interact with people and bind them to the event timings. On the other hand, you need to let people be free and do their own thing, in which they taken care of, and they have fun. No matter which destination or hotel you are in, you will not get everything at the same place. There are exclusive bars and lounges for that perfect small meeting, there are large spaces to hold a conference or a meeting for a large crowd, there are food venues which will make most resorts envious, there is a casino, there is a pool deck and DJ post to dance away the night, there is a discotheque to shake a leg, there is a Spa for the discerning, there are places to just sit quiet watching the waves, ad there is the food court to eat when you want, and what you want. To top all of this, the ship docks at exotic locales where you can get down for a shore excursion and visit places which may otherwise be inaccessible. You can book a variety of packages which you can book for various sets of people and not be bound by booking one thing for everyone. If you were holding this event on land, the amount of time and money you would spend just to scope similar activities and create bookings is unfathomable.  

The Food: Incentive groups are hard to please. And pleasing them is the foremost concern of the organizer. As they say the way to the heart is through the stomach. You don’t have to spend time, money, and effort trying to look for the perfect restaurants which can accommodate your group, settle on a time band with them to have the food and settle on a menu with them, which is often restricted in quantity and not entirely to your satisfaction. On the ship, however, a variety of cuisines are served every day, in large quantities, and served round-the-clock. No planning required of when to have a meal, what to have in a meal, and what happens if someone demands something else. Everything is right there. You be free and easy. Let people have fun and not feel rushed to have their meals. No transportation required to go anywhere. We serve a variety of Indian and International Cuisines, which are suitable for almost everyone. There are no additional food bills on the in-between meals, which often scale up to a large amount when on land.   

Liquor and other drinks:  Liquor is served in the gala evening of the entire group travel. Here it becomes an issue if you want to treat various guests differently, and often end up spending more than what was budgeted. The rest of the evenings also require and involve buying alcoholic drinks for various groups of people. You do not know how to entertain various sets of people at different venues at the same time. Leave this to the ship, and just tell us what to do and for which set of people. We will take care of them with utmost priority handling, and you will not need to be there. Having said that, you are within walking distance of each venue, and you can easily circulate around to different venues at the same time without worrying about traffic or transportation. Liquor is comparatively cheaper than on land, owing to the taxation status. You can buy packages for a few hours or for the day, which is an option no hotel or venue will provide.     

Entertainment: Incentives are all about keeping people meaningfully occupied and happy. They require various modes of entertainment and thus, on land, you must be constantly on the move to be able to keep everyone busy. Not only do you spend a lot of time and money on the logistics and transportation, but you may also agitate the people who not relish being in the bus for most of their time at a destination. On board a ship, there is a lot of entertainment available which is included in the ticket price you have paid for each guest. There is a Theater show in the evening, there are night clubs, there are fun zones and large screen movie screenings. There is a casino, which catches everyone’s fancy. There is a gym to work out and a Spa to relax at. Everything on a ship is close to each other, matched for every age group, and included in your ticket price. There are shore excursions which break the monotony of a ship, and the ship is overall geared to having a lot of fun.
